HCIAS Publications and Science Communication is a platform run by the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS). The HCIAS is an interdisciplinary center of Heidelberg University, Germany, dedicated to research, teaching, and knowledge transfer. Research at the HCIAS contributes to current debates on the social, cultural, ecological, and communicative realities of Ibero-America with diverse perspectives from the humanities and the social sciences. We are committed to making this knowledge accessible to both the scientific community and society at large through academic publications and science communication in multiple formats.
